You’ve faced the death of your husband. Expected or not, the force of the impact when the reality sets in takes your breath away.
You manage to survive the initial necessary arrangements, visitation, funeral/memorial services – maybe because you were numb or maybe because of the support surrounding you or maybe because of your own inner strength.
But then, at some point, everyone else has to go about their lives…and you’re left all alone to face the empty house, empty chair, empty place at the table, empty bed. The emptiness resonates deep inside you. It shakes you to the core. The agony tears at your very soul.
Where then can you turn?
