Widow friend, are you weary? Grief is exhausting and can wear us out! We become so tired of being alone, making all the decisions, eating by ourselves, having no special person to share our days…the list goes on and on, doesn’t it?

“Languishing” is a word I don’t often see and I checked my Thesaurus to have a better sense of what it means. I found synonyms like “longing”, “depressed”, “wilting”, and “mournful”….all emotions of which we can definitely relate!

So this scripture verse is for us widows! God promises He will satisfy and replenish our every need. But we have to turn to Him & ask Him to provide for and sustain us in our times of sorrows, exhaustion, and struggles.

Call upon the Lord & rest in Him.

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. Psalm 62:5-6
