I have a local group of widows & widowers that I meet with once a month at our local library. Today marks 2 years of this group so it was a time of celebration & reflection. I gave them this handout to guide our discussions.

It’s always valuable to take time & reflect on how far we’ve come in our widow journey no matter how long you’ve been widowed.

Some of our steps have been tiny ones, others huge leaps, but that doesn’t matter. What’s important is that you keep moving forward!

That doesn’t mean you won’t fall back at times or take sharp turns. However getting back on a forward track & keep stepping forward is of the utmost importance.

I would challenge you to read & ponder the questions on this graphic. I hope you’ll find more progress than you realized!
